Miwako Fujiwara presents Musica Felice - Charity Concert for TOLA SAY music school and BANTAEY PRIEB.
Miwako Fujiwara is a pianist, choir conductor, and piano teacher who has lived in Cambodia for 8 years. She studied piano and harpsichord in Japan and continued with Ton Koopman at the Hague Royal Conservatorium in the Netherlands, achieving a diploma. Miwako enjoys collaborating with local traditional musicians in bringing together West and East, and reviving instruments which have been all but lost for centuries, such as the 'Pin', or Cambodian harp.
Musica Felice is a chorus founded by Miwako Fujiwara, comprising 40 singers who come together each week to share their love of music. The group has been meeting for 3 years and regularly hosts concerts around Phnom Penh. Musica Felice, which means ‘Happy Music’, welcome all people who love to sing classical music.
